Full run = a complete engine run of a project with every receptor and the grid. The live preview while you work is not counted.

What every plan includes
01On every plan

One studio. Eight things it does.

The same studio, the same engine and the same report on Solo, Team and Enterprise. Plans differ by seats and full runs a month.

01Studio in the browserAddress, site, units, receptors, run. Field, Field + 3D, and the 3D twin. Layers, tools and verdicts live in the same window.
02The real site in 3DAerial imagery on the ground, surrounding buildings and trees in 3D. The yard is placed on a gravel pad inside the fence.
03ISO 9613-2, per octave bandNine bands, 31.5 Hz to 8 kHz. Geometric divergence, air absorption, ground effect, screening, A-weighting at the receptor.
04Noise field and ray pathsThe field draped on the ground, roofs and trees, 30 to 75 dB(A) in 5 dB steps with isolines. Ray paths to the worst-hit home, labelled in dB(A).
05Per-home marginsNight level, limit and margin at every receptor, with the method, the inputs and the uncertainty class behind each number.
06The five rulebooksTA Lärm, Omgevingswet (Bkl), Arrêté du 23 janvier 1997, VLAREM II and Real Decreto 1367/2007, written down with the instrument and article.
07The reportCover, site plan, source schedule, receptor table, compliance table, noise contours, method statement and data sources.
08Unlimited projectsKeep every project open. The studio remembers your work in the browser, on your device.

Two limits change. Nothing else does.

Seats and full runs a month set the plan. The studio, the engine, the report and every rulebook are the same on Solo, Team and Enterprise.

Fig. 1 Margin at every home · example night, 4.0 m receptor, TA Lärm WA
night level night limit 40 dB(A) exceeds meets by < 3 dB meets by ≥ 3 dB

A single headline number would call most of these homes fine. Four of the six homes that meet the limit do so by 2.4 dB or less, while ISO 9613-2 states ±3 dB. dBCAD shows the margin next to its uncertainty. Live values from assets/data/marl-night.json.

Engine

  • ISO 9613-2 outdoor propagationPer octave band, with A-weighting at the receptor. Air absorption from ISO 9613-1.
  • Per-receptor and per-gridLevels at every home and a grid over the site, from the same sound-power schedule.
  • Uncertainty classes A, B, C, UEvery unit carries its source-data class and its uncertainty in dB.
  • Day, evening, nightThree separate periods; the verdict is driven by night.

Studio

  • Five guided stepsAddress, site, units, receptors, run. Verdicts and per-receptor readings on the right.
  • Layer stackAerial photo, terrain, 3D buildings, trees, noise field, isolines, ray paths, receptors.
  • Three viewsField, Field + 3D, and the 3D twin, with the stage tools in every view.
  • Saved on this deviceProjects live in the browser. Server-side keys are spend-guarded.

Rulebooks

  • Five countriesGermany (TA Lärm), Netherlands (Omgevingswet, Bkl), France (Arrêté 1997), Flanders (VLAREM II), Spain (RD 1367/2007).
  • Instrument and articleEach rule carries the instrument, the periods, the zone limits, the receptor point and height, and the calculation method.
  • Unverified until checkedA rule is shown as unverified until a person has checked it against the official text.
  • Source referencesEvery rule carries the references the acoustician needs to follow it back to the published text.

Report

  • Cover, plan, scheduleThe site plan and the unit schedule carry every sound-power value and its uncertainty class.
  • Receptor and compliance tablesNight level, limit and margin at every home, with the unit contributions that drove it.
  • Noise contoursThe same 30 to 75 dB(A) ramp the studio shows, printed to scale.
  • Method and sourcesThe method statement names the rulebook, the octave bands and the source-data classes behind every number.
03Questions

About the plans.

What counts as a full run?
A complete engine run of a project with every receptor and the grid. The live preview while you work is not counted, so you can iterate the layout without burning through your quota.
Does dBCAD replace my acoustician?
No. It gives them a clean model to check and sign. The engine runs ISO 9613-2 from a sound-power schedule your acoustician reviews; the studio never takes the position that is the reader’s to take. The verdict is the margin between the calculated level and the night limit, with the method and the uncertainty class behind it.
Which countries are covered?
Germany (TA Lärm 2017), the Netherlands (Omgevingswet, Besluit kwaliteit leefomgeving), France (Arrêté du 23 janvier 1997), Flanders (VLAREM II chapter 4.5) and Spain (Real Decreto 1367/2007). Each rulebook carries its instrument, its night period, its zone limits and the receptor point and height.
What happens when source data is missing?
Class U. The library default is used and the uncertainty is increased by 3 dB, labelled. The class is shown next to every unit so an acoustician can replace it with measured data before signing.
Is pricing per seat or per team?
Per team. The five seats on Team (and the 15+ on Enterprise) share the same projects and the same quota. There is no per-seat charge.
How do I start?
Request access on the start page. There is no self-serve sign-up; the start page says exactly what happens to your request and what is kept in this browser.
